The Get Real with Depression (GRWD) plan is a 17-week self-guided plan that leads women battling with depression, or recovering from depression, to mental and spiritual freedom from depression. The plan includes guided mental wellness exercises, a prayer guide, exercise info, recipes, and words of encouragement throughout.

It was created for you if you’re desiring a holistic, mental health resource to use on your mental wellness journey. You’ll be empowered to take control over your emotional, physical, social and spiritual health.


The Principles

It’s rooted in 5 holistic principles focused on your total health.

Chiropractic Care: Gently aligning the spine back into its proper position to allow for better brain-body communication.

Exercise: Moving to take in more oxygen, build strength and lower negative symptoms.

Nutrition: Eating more plants to get more nutrients.

Prayer: Making time to talk to God and learn scripture to fill your mind with truth.

Purpose: Learning, embracing, and living out your God-given purpose.

Find all the negativity in your life through books, friends, social media, music, TV (yes Netflix) and let it go. Start removing the things that are contributing to your mental struggles and begin surrounding yourself with truth.

Find your favorite verses and write them on your heart.

Adjust Areas of Your Life

Start learning about ways you want to improve your physical wellness. Begin finding vegetables you like to eat and movements (exercises) you enjoy. Also get connected with a community, discover habits you want to try and continue getting closer to God.

Discover why you were created by finding out what you’re passionate about. Set goals in your personal life and career to live out your God-given purpose.

The Creator

After living with depression for over a decade, I was introduced to the world of natural health through a local chiropractor.

During my first visit, I learned how my symptoms were directly connected to the alignment of my spine. I began getting adjusted immediately and my symptoms began to go away within two weeks of care.

Through my chiropractor and personal research, I began learning about the positive effects that nutrition, exercise, prayer/meditation, and personal discovery had on mental health. Applying all the new principles to my life, Jasmine was finally able to experience a life without depression.

Through prayer and more research, I combined all my experiences and knowledge into a program that all women can use. I see this plan as an empowering, faith-based, holistic alternative that you can use to begin breaking free from depression.
